Is it Spring yet?

I'm still waiting for spring. It is STILL 47 degrees and cold at night. 55 would be perfect! I also want to be able to walk on my daily walk without wearing 2 coats and a sweater, earmuffs, a hat and gloves. Ah yes, waiting, waiting.

We do have a resident thief - he is a squirrel that comes to dine at the "Smith restaurant/bird feeder". I'll try to put a picture of him on this blog, so you can see him at work.

I enjoyed working in the garden a little bit today. Being outside is one of my favorite things. If I were to list what I really like, the list would include things like this: Walking for a mile or two on a quiet and scenic street(which most are, in our community); Eating raspberries from our garden(or any garden...love those raspberries!); listening to children sing,( especially when I can play for them); listening to people and their views on life ( I've met some facinating people on train rides, bus rides and from in laws and their relatives); I love horses and dogs- have owned both; I guess I love simple things, but most of all I enjoy being with and being helpful to my family.

I am also enjoying watching some reality shows on t.v. and reading some good books. I loved watching "Project Runway" because I am always amazed at people's talent when it comes to sewing and producing a "look" in just 2 days. I like "So you think you can dance" because I have always enjoyed watching people dance, including my daughter, since I have never been a dancer. "American Idol" is fun, but I get antsy listening to all the "filler" on their shows- JUST LET THE CONTESTANTS SING AND BE QUIET!!!

So, there you have it for today. Tomorrow is Easter and I get to play the organ and piano for the Easter Program. I hope I never get arthritus- I would hate to give up playing!!

Ahah. See, I knew you'd figure out the blog set-up in no time. Now you just need to do a little surveillance on Stu and get some dirt on his activities.

So you finally gave in, eh? Well I guess if you could figure it out then I'll have to start my own once we're settled and have internet connections at home.
